Take 5 Oil Change

I will never be returning. I was under the impression that Take 5 was a full service business. It's not. I asked to have my tire pressure check, several times. Someone finally did. I also asked if the truck was greased. I asked several times and was told rather bluntly my truck did not have grease fittings. It does. The front tires were off that morning for front brakes. I saw the fittings. After I pointed them out, the employee that told me I did not have fittings turned and walked away. Another employee told me they do not have a grease gun, that they only change oil. He then also turned away and dismissed me. I was then directed to leave. During the oil change, I was asked if I wanted any of the other services they offered. I did not. After I left, I realized Take 5 is only interested in doing services that make money. Greasing the truck, or checking the tire pressure does not make money. I would like to add an observation that I saw during my 2 visits to the Take 5 that day. I also brought in my wife's car earlier for service. Both times I was directed right into an empty stall. Even though there were 4 employees present for my wife's car, I had to wait for 20 minutes because t

I’ve gone here a few times for both of my vehicles. I only ever go when I have at least a $25 off coupon because it’s VERY pricey in my opinion. The good news is that each time I’ve gone, the staff has consistently been very good. Professional, ask their upsell questions like they’re trained to, but never pushy about anything. I’m settling on 3 stars because of the overall price and my last visit. I showed up and was set up in the bay. As they started working on my oil change, they kind of came of around and was just like “oh by the way, all we have left for your car is our most expensive oil”… not verbatim, but the was gist. I was in a pinch because I was heading out on a road trip and wanted my oil change. I bit the bullet because I still had my $25 off coupon to use, but the oil change still cost like $115 I think. What would’ve been the right thing in my opinion was for them to change my oil at the lower costing service. It wasn’t my fault that they mismanaged (whether it was them or their supplier’s fault) their supply inventory. I know they wouldn’t have lost too much if any at all on the service, but instead I basically got forced into paying for the premium service without

I don’t leave reviews often, but this one is absolutely deserved.!!! Thank you New Hartford, NY I’ve been coming to Take 5 Oil Change since I lived in North Carolina, and one thing I always appreciated was the honesty and customer service. Unfortunately, with prices going up everywhere, what used to cost me around $40 is now closer to $60. Even with that, I still choose Take 5 because of experiences like the one I had today. Kevin, the manager, went above and beyond. As a woman, it can sometimes be hard to know whether you’re being given honest information about your vehicle, and too many places take advantage of that. Kevin did the exact opposite. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions without making me feel talked down to, and made sure I understood what actually needed to be done versus what could wait. I never once felt pressured, misled, or like someone was trying to sell me services I didn’t need. What stood out most was that he genuinely cared about making sure my vehicle was safe to drive. His honesty, patience, professionalism, and integrity gave me peace of mind, and that’s something you can’t put a price on. Great customer service isn’t j

Excellent people, in New Hartford NY. (Savanna, Zack and entire team) we were from out of town, they were able to get both of our vehicles in side by side, quickly, very professional, very precise, very thorough. Strongly recommended.

The service at this location was great! The young girl who was the greeter and person who took all of our info and directed us on what to do was awesome! Amazing customer service. I told her manager I know why she was hired for that position and he said that’s exactly why he hired her. Thank you for great service and the personal feel. We will definitely be back for our next oil change.
